Celebrating 5 years of Excellence in Service
UAV Communications (UAV Comm) marked its fifth-year anniversary on February 27 with a celebration at its corporate headquarters in Newport News. During the event, President Robert Fitzgerald and Executive Vice President Shelly Fitzgerald welcomed and thanked guests for helping UAV Comm achieve "Five Years of Excellence in Service."
Attendees included Councilwoman Sharon Scott, who delivered a celebratory proclamation on behalf of Mayor Frank of Newport News, Virginia. Scott also added, "I am very proud to be here because, in this economy, you are keeping the economy going."
The celebration also marked the announcement of a new name and direction for the company. Bob Fitzgerald introduced UAV Comm's new brand strategy to the event's guests, and unveiled a new logo and name -- BOSH Global Services.
The new name and brand strategy is more reflective of the company's services, clients and markets. Our transition to BOSH Global Services supports the growth of the company and helps position us to continue to meet the increasing demands for unmanned systems worldwide. The new name summarizes who we are now -- and that we are more than UAVs.
UAV Communications (BOSH Global Services) is an SBA-certified 8(a), veteran-owned company specializing in communications, networking and video distribution technology services. Since its inception, UAV Comm has expanded services outside of UAVs and communications to include concepts of operations, ISR and training. It opened for business in 2004 and has grown to include more than 100 employees in Virginia, Arizona, North Dakota, Texas, New Mexico, California, Nevada, and Florida.
